The Lee County Libraries in collaboration with the Lee County Genealogical and Historical Society will be presenting the North Carolina Quiz Bowl, a competitive question event that gives history buffs an opportunity to shine.  The event will be held on Tuesday, May 22^nd, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Sanford, located next door to the library at 203 Hawkins Ave.  The quiz bowl will be conducted in a Jeopardy-style format with twelve categories.  Each category will have three difficulty levels of ten points, twenty points, and thirty points, and each difficulty level will have five questions each.  Our State magazine will have staff members present at the event.  The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
