LCL Día de los Muertos Celebration

Date & Time: Saturday, November 1, 2025 | 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM

Location: Children’s Department & Indoor Brick Area

Celebrate Día de los Muertos with an afternoon of culture, crafts, and community! Join us for a themed story time from 1:30 PM - 2 PM. Then welcome the NC Extension 4-H Magetsi Folklórico Dancers for a performance showcasing traditional dance at 2 PM. From 3 PM - 4 PM, enjoy face painting, and hands-on crafts: a moveable skeleton and a nicho box.

All ages are welcome to take part in this colorful celebration of life and remembrance. Registration is not required. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
